2b nier automata ass4/29/2024 Keep in mind, 9S is a meek, scrawny, effeminate little dude, and 2B is… well… she’s 2B. Which of course means he’s going to be constantly faced with that round thing in his fuckin face basically 24/7. Which of course leads us to the cornerstone of this theory, THAT MOTHA FUCKIN TUSH.ĩS is presented initially as 2B’s assigned partner, not the other way around. Perhaps Marilyn Monroe was one of them, hence the beauty mark. It’s quite possible they used images of attractive human women in history and meshed the best parts of them together to make 2B as attractive as possible. Fantastic hair, great body, a beauty mark on her cheek. Think about it, what are some of the first things you notice about 2B. I believe that YoRHa designed 2B’s physical appearance to be especially alluring to 9S in order to constantly keep his mind at least partially distracted, as a means to keep him from asking too many questions about the world and about YoRHa itself. That’s why she’s always hounding him about not being too emotional and scolding him for asking too many questions.īut we also know that, at some point, 2B developed feelings for 9S, which is why despite reprimanding him for his curiosity and emotional ways, she’s also pretty lenient with him, and obviously very caring, despite her mission. 2B was assigned to be his partner not just to kill him if he steps out of line, but to make sure that he doesn’t. It’s even implied that 2B has killed 9S multiple times before for this very reason.Ĭonfusing, right? Well, what they don’t tell you outright, what you kind of have to figure out for yourself, is that 9S is considered by YoRHa to be very valuable in terms of his talent as a hacker, but his personality data causes him to be curious, always asking questions, getting emotional, etc… and apparently he’s figured out this secret before. At which point, 9S would get his memory wiped, his body rebuilt and his personality rebooted so he can go back to being an asset to YoRHa. This fact is a well kept secret among YoRHa.Īnd then at the end of route C we find out that 2B’s real name is 2E, and that her real mission is to execute 9S should he step too far out of line. Okay, so 9S is a hacker, right? And in route B, he uses his hacking abilities to find administration-only files, ultimately leading to the discovery that the Council of Humanity isn’t real and that the humans have long been extinct. **WARNING** Massive spoilers for the endings of Nier Automata ahead. I feel like there has to be a deeper meaning, and I think I figured it out. ‘That’ guy wanted 2B’s butt to be godlike. why? The Taroverse games have always been very story and lore heavy, and have traditionally been filled with details that you have to figure out the meaning behind. (he could have been kidding, but the point is he was very serious about this booty) I read somewhere that Yoko Taro told the developers to make sure that 2B’s ass was as perfect as possible, even stating he’d fuckin’ fire them if the booty wasn’t perf. Like, god fucking dammit, just look at it. The developers clearly put their blood sweat and tears into crafting the ultimate video game b-b-b-BOOTY.Īnd while I’ve been thinking about Nier Automata’s story a lot, enough to come up with a few theories, I can’t get this fuckin’ booty out of my mind. But all the times I’ve gone to the Nier Automata tag, literally all I see is…Īnd look, I’m not complaining or anything. Mika's infamous butt slap altogether in the wake of yet more backlash related to female representation in video games.Okay so back in the days of pre and post release Drakengard 3, the tags for Yoko games had a lot of people coming up with theories and sharing their ideas and opinions about the story. Overwatch 's Tracer saw her victory poses remodeled after fans complained, while Street Fighter 5 had to delete R. With yet another reference to Android 2B's posterior, NieR: Automata also joins other titles like Overwatch and Street Fighter 5 in infamy, as each of those titles survived a butt-related scandal as well. Of course, that hasn't meant not making any innovations to the series - NieR: Automata's combat has been a heavily praised improvement on its predecessor's, and the game is now taking cues from other successful titles like Dark Souls. That's being achieved, as evidenced by the existence of the "What Are You Doing?" trophy, without sacrificing NieR's oddball charm and refusal to sacrifice any of the artistic direction of its director, Yoko Taro. NieR: Automata hasn't released in North America or Europe yet, but the very earliest indication from Japan is that the game is living up to its hype.
